Art and art history Before the renaissance you could really share individual artist. Have been people who were member of a gilde. At the bottom of the 19th century art again got another function. Artist for you to form there own vision on reality. Getting familiar with the abstract art arose. The artist may possibly also chose out of more different materials. Also numerous art forms started to cross with eachother and their arose other types of art such as mixed media. So in the last century art became alot more individual. I guess we know every one, The jewish bride by rembrandt painted by Leonardo da Vinci between 1503 and 1507 Meditation and De nachwacht painted bij Rembrandt van Rijn between 1739 and 1742. I think it are the two most famous paintings everywhere in the world since they exist Both of these pictures show Abstract art. In the painting above you can see a lot of numerous colours used to make beautiful flowers. The painting on the right is in white or black and the painter used straight lines to form everything
